Dear Lahiru

Could you add the first 18 තනි පද from පොත් පිංච to the glossary තනි පද? I have added about 5 as examples.

The first 18 of the first page of පොත් පිංච is done.

I have a suggestion.
Wouldn't it be nice if this සංකල්පය and අර්ථ දැක්වීම were switched?
I think it would make it easier to find words.

Thanks! Now I can start experimenting. Please keep on adding the other words too.

About the "direction" of the glossary: For certain applications this way is better, for others the other way. My plan is to build the glossary in one direction and have an "automated" way of getting it the other way. See How do you "turn around" a word list? https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=468195. Could you try the suggestions made there and compare them for my purpose?

Dear Sir,

I was read the moodle conversation about "turn around word list", it was very detailed & deep.
I think Mr. Daniel Thies's idea regarding SQL and adding keywords in cross-language is good. What about it ?

I will look into these suggestions further. Since I don't have a good idea about this aim yet, I will continue adding words as in the previous method for now.

I noticed some mistakes and confusing places in පොත් පිංච.
 
Ex: (Correct one is 78 )

Can I edit them, or should they be written exactly as they are in the book?

It must be a mistake. Drop the second one.

Ideally we should refer a serious dictionary. My ones are in Sri Lanka. If you are keen on using a (printed) dictionary buy one. We can reimburse it.

I know, you said this already. Still, could you both go through තනි පද for any possible corrections? In the next step I will generate other content based on it. Therefore making any corrections will be very tedious after that, since the words get copied.

✅ I found one duplicate word and I deleted it.
 
 
✅ I checked the glossary, but I didn't find any typing mistakes or Incompatible meanings.

❌ But I found some most words has extra space at the end. (when viewing source code option)
Ex:- <p>වචනය  </P>

I deleted the spaces in many words and fixed them. (but not all)
I think it's not affecting as error or affecting for using new contents, am I right or not sir?

However, this space often occurs when copying and pasting. So I think we have to check also the newly created content anyway.

Lahiru, unnecessary spaces may influence the follow-up activities. Could you pl. delete them?
