Access to Moodle Mobile App will be sporadically unavailable

Dear visitors

We have some synchronous classes going on where we need to disable the Moodle Mobile App. That will be for the duration of the classes, which are sporadic. Apologies for any inconvenience.

The access through the web browser is not affected.

FOSS Group

After this season's 2024/25 workshops a solid group of Linux enthusiasts stayed behind to create the FOSS Group. All registered users on EduNET may self-enrol (and self-unenrol).

Currently we have three areas of interest: Linux desktop including live-systems, Linux on Raspberry Pi and Linux distributions for education, especially schools. You're welcome to bring your ideas on these subjects, discuss FOSS and Linux matters here.

Talk Unix: Say a few words in the Unix command language

This instructor-led series of hands-on exercises is offered to the students of the Faculty of Engineering under CO1020, starting the Computer Engineering stream. Scheduled time slots are Mondays 21, 28 April and 5 May 2025, 10:10-11:50 LKT.

Your own web development environment under Linux

This is the follow up to our module FOSS and Linux. This module too was an instructor-led, fully on-line workshop with multiple sessions where the participants learnt to set up a web development environment in their own PC or laptop running the Linux operating system in a virtual environment and then started developing for the web - in HTML, CSS and JavaScript - naturally all Open Source Software!
